“Do any of the Latin Women speak English?”

A percentage of Latin women are comfortable with conversational English without a translator. Colombia may be generally classified as a 3rd World Country but that does not mean its people are 3rd World. The major coastal cities, like Cartagena, Barranquilla, and especially Bogotá, are major metropolitan areas that are safe for tourists and have similar luxuries as other major foreign tourist destinations.

“Do you weed out the prostitutes, scammers, and gold-diggers?”

LoveIntros works to minimize the enrollment of scammers, prostitutes, and gold-diggers to protect the client and uphold the professional standards set by LoveIntros. Enrollment interviews are designed to protect the client; however, the ultimate responsibility lies on the client to get to know the woman, her family, and her situation. The LoveIntros staff is given the discretion to prevent obvious problem women from becoming members. Either the founder or the managers perform the enrollment interviews to protect the client; this issue is our primary focus and regulating enrollment is of strict concern.

“Is letter or email writing effective or are personal introductions the most effective way?”

Opinions vary on this topic, but the LoveIntros founder believes that if the client can’t make a personal visit to Colombia, then email/postal mail is the next best way to make personal introductions and establish a rapport. However, due to the high cost of sending postal letters to the US, it is not the most efficient method of correspondence. If a postal letter is sent, members should include their email address so email can be used to establish a more cost-effective rapport. Most women are very receptive to in-person personal introductions after using email to establish a rapport.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford a personal visit to Colombia, then it is highly recommended – personal introductions or group introductions are the most effective. Some women don’t feel comfortable trying to establish a rapport with anyone who doesn’t want to visit her country, since it is very difficult for her to visit his country.  After all, how can you fully get to know someone without making face-to-face personal introductions?

Sometimes, personal introductions require the assistance of a translator. However, body language and facial expressions are key for two people to establish a rapport. In many cases, both our organized group meetings and one-on-one personal introductions prove to be very effective. Introduction Letters

For introduction letters, you can make a great first impression to foreign women by translating it into Spanish for them. Very few foreign women will make the effort and/or spend the money to translate introduction letters from English to Spanish. In addition, foreign women also want to know if you truly intend to visit their country – this lets them know your intentions are serious.

Always be honest in your introduction letter, especially about age. Many foreign women are astute about lies, so be sincere to ensure that your intentions are serious.

When sending photos in your introduction letter, send 1-3 for either email or postal. Use normal, respectful photos to show that your intentions are serious – no nude shots or photos of you with past wives/girlfriends, as foreign women are often traditional and often come from conservative upbringings.

Introduction letters are preferred via email instead of postal mail.

Postal Problems

Requests for Money

National pride runs high in Colombia and foreign women consider criticism of their country as impolite. Bragging about your country or insulting her country is an immediate way to show that your intentions are not serious.

The best way to engage foreign women is to ask questions; this shows her that you are interested and your intentions are serious instead of sending a mass email to hundreds of women. Most foreign women want honesty; if you are writing to other women and she asks, tell her the truth.

Personal Introductions vs. Group Tours: which is better?
